On Monday the 4th of May, we had the pleasure of supporting Alan Sparhawk and his band. Everything was brought together by Heartnoize promotion who put on some of the best shows in Prague. They organise concerts in a lot of different venues all over the city. You know you can trust them to put on a great show and judging by the turnout last Monday, everybody does...

Last weekend we travelled to Moravia to play a gig in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. We played with a band called Tajíledy and performed in a chateau, palace type place. Everyone there was really sweet and although we played in a tunnel, which was acoustically challenging, I think it turned out well; we even managed to play our cover of ‘Come On Let’s Go’ by Broadcast after a long time which was nice. After the show we went to a local bar called Dodo and on the way there came up with the tongue twister ‘dědo, jedeme do doda dodávkou’. We were searching for a hermelín (pickled cheese) but ended up just snacking on nuts and olives, while Kuba and Slajmer went on a search (unsuccessfully) for some other food. It was great talking to everyone there, they took a hold of the speakers in the pub and so we listened to some tunes before we headed to our hotel.

Our hotel was AMAZING, it was as if it was stuck in time, from the interior design to the small butler who wore a red waistcoat and seemed to talk in riddles...

I wanted to write down some impressions from our trip to Ljubljana where we played and attended the MENT showcase festival. After the Christmas gig in Prague we entered a two month break to have some time for ourselves and recharge our batteries, as they say. We really needed it!

We got together last week for two rehearsals that were fun, we refamiliarized ourselves with our own songs, reworked the chorus of one of our new songs and even had a couple of great jams. On Thursday morning we left Prague pretty early because the drive to Slovenia takes almost eight hours....
