Listen on Bandcamp:

It's called Tell Me When You Pass The Sun and we're really excited to share it with you all!

We recorded it with our friend Nichi Mlebom with additional recording by Richard Grimm and we produced it ourselves. It's our first album recorded as a five-piece line-up, in which we played most of the concerts in the last two years. Cover art and other visuals by the amazing Lívia Suchá!

We've also released a video for Big White Nothing:

On Monday the 4th of May, we had the pleasure of supporting Alan Sparhawk and his band. Everything was brought together by Heartnoize promotion who put on some of the best shows in Prague. They organise concerts in a lot of different venues all over the city. You know you can trust them to put on a great show and judging by the turnout last Monday, everybody does...

Ida The Young

(the correct name of our band with the capital T)

We're an indie folk/alt rock band from the Czech Republic. Some time ago our lead singer Iris moved to Pilsen and met our guitarist Marek. They decided to start making music together and were gradually joined by their mutual friends Pavel, Jakub and Filip (aka Slajmr Slajm). We like to play around with different textures and genres, initially leaning into the more folky side of things and eventually starting to explore electricity. Proudly we are part of the Ostrava–based Korobushka Records label.

While you're reading this we're probably touring somewhere around Europe in our van, which hopefully isn't broken, packed with guitars, keys, things to hit with sticks and musical–road–ready food. Catch us on the road, listen to our music or dive deep into this website...

Lots of love,

Ida The Young
